Eat the popcorn.
Welcome to the Good Life Chronicles, where living a good life takes center stage.
Know what I did last night? I'm such a badass.
I had popcorn.
For dinner.
Watching Netflix.
And no, there were no vegetables.

(I was certainly not wearing this, but I had to share my new sparkle jacket!)
Want to know why?
Because I wanted to. I want to be happy.... TODAY.
I don’t just want to live a long time… later.
I don’t want to “optimize”, “maximize” or whatever else I am meant to do. I just want to live my life now. And you should too.
There are too many gurus telling us how to live life, and often without any evidence. But even if there was evidence for certain practises, are they worth the investment? I mean, is the 12 minutes spent today doing whatever cleanse, ice bath, or affirming ritual worth the 8-second increase in longevity later?
I get it, no one wants to die early. Me neither. But I also don’t want to live an unhappy life because that will shorten my lifespan.
And yet, the basics work. The irony is that most people don’t do them and are willing to spend thousands on other things that either don’t work, or take time away from things that do!
Alright... so, how do you live a Good Life?
1. Move – a lot actually, and several times throughout the day. Do whatever you like, just get your heart rate up often.
2. Sleep, but don’t stress over not sleeping, it’ll make you sleep less.
3. Don't stress and definitely don’t stress over being stressed, that’s a double dose you don’t need!
4. Develop good friends; ditch the ones that aren’t good. Better yet, clear out the average ones too, they’re not uplifting you anyways.
5. Say yes to random, fun things.
6. Say no to boring things.
That’s pretty much it. Oh, and spend your money wisely.
Let's try and keep this life simple, shall we?
